The GoBook® II was the world's most advanced wireless, rugged mobile computing platform available. It offers innovative flexibility to mission-critical mobile workers more productive. The rugged GoBook II is the only computer in its class to offer the speed of the Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor-M, running at 1.7 GHz. It is the one of the few wireless notebook computers to simultaneously support up to three radio technologies–WAN (GRPS, 1xRTT), wireless LAN (802.11b), and Bluetooth. Coupled with Mobility XE™ the GoBook II offers seamless IP roaming, enabling the user to stay securely connected when traveling between subnets or different network types, whether wireline or wireless.

exploded view of the GoBook II, the world's most advanced wireless, rugged mobile computing platform available.
|
The GoBook II was developed with multiple input options, a choice of displays, upgradable memory, and a "no tools needed" removable shock-mounted hard drive. Rain or shine, day or night, the GoBook II is packed with features that make field computing as simple as possible. A NiteVue® glow-in-the-dark keyboard and ColorVue™ display make the problems of nighttime data entry and full-sun viewing a thing of the past.
Meeting military specifications for ruggedization, the GoBook II can perform in conditions that would kill an ordinary notebook computer. Operating at -10ºF to 140ºF and surviving a downpour of 4 inches per hour, the GoBook II will survive more than the user can take.
With Itronix's exclusive CRMA® (common radio module architecture) wireless technology, your GoBook II investment is secure. As radio technologies advance, CRMA enables the user to install new radios into their existing GoBook II–making their hardware perform to advanced capabilities.
The GoBook II is supported by Itronix's award-winning iCare™ Implementation Services, where you will receive support ranging from project justification and planning to first line help desk support for your mobile workers.
The GoBook II is more than the world's most advanced wireless rugged mobile computer. It is proof of Itronix's industry-leading legacy in the development, implementation and support of computing products and services that improve the productivity of mobile workers, worldwide.
