6/23/1999 Itronix T5200 Handheld Users To Access Mission-Critical Data In Record Time With Oracle8i™ Lite Wireless Database Connectivity Enables Field Workers to Achieve Greater Productivity and Customer Satisfaction SPOKANE, Wash., (June 23, 1999) – Itronix Corporation, a world leader in the design and manufacture of ruggedized, wireless mobile computing solutions for field automation, today announced its T5200 Windows CE-based handheld solution, due to ship this month, will support Oracle8I™ Lite. This mobile component of the Oracle® Internet platform will allow companies with field workforces using the T5200 to reduce costs and improve customer service by providing seamless synchronization with central database servers running Oracle Enterprise Edition 7.3 and above. By placing pertinent data from the central database server onto the T5200 through a series of mobile real-time updates, Oracle8i Lite provides field workers with immediate access to mission-critical information.
