One of the most advanced wireless, rugged laptops, the GoBook II is designed with integrated wireless features that support up to three wireless networks concurrently, a removable hard drive for enhanced data security, and the most powerful processor on the market. FPL joins other satisfied Itronix customers throughout the world, such as Sears, Verizon, United States Department of Defense, Transco, and others. FPL evaluated several laptops and selected the Itronix GoBook II for a number of reasons. In addition to its durability, FPL cited the laptop’s portability in and out of its vehicle-mounted cradle; its quick and accurate touch-screen response; and its high-quality transflective display, which provides FPL’s mobile workforce with screen visibility at various times of day and under diverse weather conditions. FPL also appreciated the GoBook II’s advanced wireless capabilities. Designed with integrated wireless communications, GoBook II is one of the first rugged laptops of its class that concurrently supports up to three different wireless networks, including 802.11b (wireless LAN), Bluetooth, and wireless WAN technologies such as CDMA 1xRTT, CDPD, and GPRS.
