9/17/2002 Itronix Announces Release of GoBook® Q-100— Wireless, Ultra-rugged, Portable Handheld PC for Mobile Workforces Environmentally immune handheld PC will be deployed to mobile workers in mission-critical environments Spokane, Wash. The GoBook Q-100 is being deployed to mobile workforces that operate in demanding mission-critical environments throughout the US and Europe. The GoBook Q-100 runs both Windows CE Operating System and Pocket PC 2000. It has an IP 67 sealing rating making it virtually immune to invasive water or dust. It is Mil Spec 810E rated to withstand multiple drops onto concrete from 2 meters. The GoBook Q-100 is 9.6” in length and 4” wide and is built from the ground up to operate in demanding mission-critical environments. Inside the sealed, die-cast magnesium housing is an Intel® processor that provides maximum performance for Pocket PC or custom mobile applications. It is lightweight—weighing in at just 28 oz. including batteries.
